SNH has plenty of garages available for rent in a number of villages across the district.
There are currently at least 150 empty garages and there are some available in most villages including:
There are generally one or two garages for rent in most villages and also a number of vacant hardstandings in Deanshanger.
If you want to use the garage to store personal belongings you do need permission but anyone can rent a garage to store a vehicle and prices are £8.70 per week if you are an SNH tenant.
Even those who aren’t SNH tenants can rent a garage with prices from £10.44 per week. The price difference is because tenants don’t have to pay VAT unless they have two or more garages.
If anyone is interested the only qualifying criteria is that your rent must be kept up to date and you have to pay four weeks rent on the garage up front on sign-up.
