We are really proud of our Life Skills courses, part of our Move-In4ward campaign, designed to help people improve vital skills which could set them on the road to success.

The courses were made possible thanks to grant funding from the Adult and Community Learning Fund of over £22,000.

People who have participated have learnt new skills to feel more confident, improve their computer skills and job prospects, manage money, be happier and healthier and to manage their home better.

Are you interested in taking part in a future course?

Contact Kelly Ednie, our Tenancy Support Officer, or phone her on 07740 774112.

One recent participant Nick Tapp, from Silverstone, said:

“Move-in4ward came just at the right time for me. I’ve just overcome some difficulties in my life and it was just what I needed to increase my confidence and give me new hope for my future. It was a great confidence builder and shows you how to cope with life’s small problems.

“It has also given me my future career direction as whilst I was on the course I was helping some of the others who have disabilities; this has now made me want to go into a career where I will be working to help people with disabilities."

This could be a golden opportunity for you to boost your life skills.
