Charitable and Community Donations

South Northants Homes is committed to community development which includes giving financial support to local groups and charities. We have a funding pot available which we can use to make donations to support local initiatives.

If an organisation wants to apply for a donation, they must fill out an application form and submit it to the address below.

As long as the request is in line with the SNH Charitable and Community Donations Policy and meets the following criteria it will be presented to our Customer Committee, who will make a decision.

Criteria

The request must directly or indirectly benefit our SNH tenants or future tenants.

Your local group/organisation must support the local community in which SNH operates.

Rules:

• A cap of £500 has been set to enable SNH to help fund more projects.
• All applications regardless of the scale of the project will be considered. If it is a large project, we will ask for a specific area where we could assist with funding
• Only one application per financial year per organisation will be accepted and funded. If your application is rejected further applications for different projects from the same organisation can be submitted.
• All applications should show any other funding sources that is supporting the project.
• Applications will be assessed by the Customer Committee sub committee for charitable donations.
