While the visiting support officer is generally on hand to assist residents in case of accident or illness, they cannot take the place of relatives or friends.
Relatives should always be mindful of their role in the well-being of the relatives or friends. The visiting support officer is available during normal working hours to discuss any issues with a relative, as long as consent has been given.
