SNH runs a programme of neighbourhood walkabouts, in partnership with SNH officers and external organisations such as the Police and district and parish councils.
The housing officer for each neighbourhood leads the walkabout, which provides residents with a good opportunity to meet their SNH representative and work together in raising issues with the appropriate organisation that affect their neighbourhood. SNH Customer Commitee representatives are also invited to attend walks in the areas they represent.
Anyone is welcome to join in our Neighbourhood Walkabouts. Our tenants and leaseholders receive details of when the Walkabout will be in their area in a letter from their Housing Officer and via our newsletter SNH News.
Invitations are sent to the police, South Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire County Council and parish councils.
Notes of all the issues raised and agreed actions are available of all Neighbourhood Walkabouts. If you would like a copy, please contact your Housing Officer.
If you are unable to attend a neighbourhood walkabout please contact your Housing Officer to make sure your comments are fed into the Neighbourhood Walkabout notes.
