The retirement schemes have communal amenities, all of which include communal lounges and laundry facilities. All schemes have access to a computer, printer and internet access free of charge.
The communal lounges are available to all residents, including those who live in the wider community for social and recreational activities and often host a number of enjoyable activities such as coffee mornings, luncheon clubs, computer classes, gardening clubs, wine clubs and craft groups to name but a few. Most activities are organised by the residents with the support of the visiting support officer and our Community Development staff and residents chose whether they want to participate in all or any.
We actively encourage all retirement housing residents, whether living in a scheme or in the community, to use our facilities.
For a small charge, our communal lounge can also be hired by local community groups. Please contact the visiting support officer for further details.
