Mutual exchange

Any assured tenant of South Northants Homes is entitled to request permission to swap their home with a tenant of any other housing association or council. This is known as mutual exchange and can be a great way of finding a more suitable home, either locally or away from the area.

To give you the best possible chance of finding someone who wishes to exchange their home, SNH has joined Homeswapper, giving you free access to the UK’s largest online mutual exchange service.

To join Homeswapper, free of charge, either register online by visiting the website www.homeswapper.co.uk and clicking on the ‘Join’ option or print and complete the Homeswapper application form and return to the SNH head office.

Once you find your ideal match, you must get permission from SNH before starting the moving process. Please complete the Mutual exchange application and send to the SNH head office.
