In 2007 South Northamptonshire Council prepared a tenant consultation document on the proposed transfer of their housing stock to South Northants Homes.
The South Northamptonshire Tenants' Panel spent time listening to tenants' views, concerns and questions and negotiated with the Council to create an offer which they believed was the best possible. Most of the suggestions and requirements of the tenants were included in the offer. Promises were made to the tenants including improvements of their homes and their communities, these were categorised into the following themes:
Theme 1 - Delivery of home improvements (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 2 - Service Improvement (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 3 - Affordable rents (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 4 - Tenant involvement in decision making (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 5 - Regeneration (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 6 - Delivering sustainable communities (within five years from transfer – 17 March 2008)
Theme 7 - Completed items since transfer - 17 March 2008
You can read how we're doing against our promises. This document is updated quarterly and reviewed by South Northamptonshire Council to ensure SNH is complying with the promises made in the original document.
Further to this the Key Performance Indicators showing our progress against set targets are reported to the SNH Customer Committee and Board of Management on a quarterly basis.
