Northamptonshire-based social housing provider, South Northants Homes (SNH), celebrated its first year in operation on 17 March 2009. The new housing association was formed 12 months ago, following the transfer of 2,900 homes from South Northamptonshire Council to South Northants Homes.
SNH staff, together with colleagues from its parent company, Grand Union Housing Group, attended a St Patrick’s Day lunchtime celebration, complete with Irish stew, jokes and Guinness!
Paul Calland, Managing Director of SNH, who hosted the event, stated: “SNH has had a really good first year. We are on track to deliver all of the promises we made to tenants. The Board and management team are proud of the way our staff have risen to the challenge and appreciative how our involved tenants have helped us shape our services.”
