July 2010 Towcester Wellbeing Day a success!
The first ever Towcester Wellbeing Day, organised by social housing provider, South Northants Homes and Sponne School Partnership, took place last week and was a great success!

June 2010 SNH housing hotshots race for life!

May 2010 - SNH cements partnership with Travis Perkins
South Northants Homes (SNH) has formalised its partnership agreement with leading builders’ merchant, Travis Perkins to supply the building materials for improvements and development to its social housing sites. The contract was signed between Doug Grace, Assistant Director, Property Services SNH and James How, Regional Director, Travis Perkins at a celebratory event on 5 May 2010, held at the Travis Perkins Harvey Reeves Road Branch in Northampton.

December 2008 - Sheltered housing tenants have their cake and eat it!
Local social housing provider, South Northants Homes (SNH), gave tenants in its sheltered schemes a delicious surprise last week! On 11 and 12 December, a cake was delivered to each of the schemes to wish tenants a happy festive season. The cakes were supplied by South Northants Council.

November 2008 - South Northants Homes restructures to strengthen service provision for customers
Northamptonshire-based housing association, South Northants Homes (SNH) is moving to new offices in Burcote Road, Towcester in spring 2009. SNH currently operates from two separate sites but it believes there are efficiencies to be achieved by moving to one building. Ahead of this relocation, and ensure that it continues to provide the most efficient and effective service to its tenants, SNH has reviewed the structure of the organisation.

August 2008 - South Northants Homes Major Works Programme is Underway
In order to meet and improve upon the Decent Homes Standard, South Northants Homes are committed to spending a total of £46 million on modernisation, improvements, and the provision of day to day repairs, empty properties and cyclical maintenance programmes in the first five years following the transfer of the housing stock from South Northants Council.

July 2008 - Grand Union refurbishes landmark Rushden hotel
Leading east of England social housing provider, Grand Union Housing Group (GUHG), has refurbished the historic Rilton Hotel in the town centre of Rushden in East Northamptonshire. GUHG developed this scheme for its subsidiary organisation Aragon Housing Association.

March 2008 - South Northants Homes is launched
