 The Housing Ombudsman Service

If, finally, you have exhausted our complaints procedure and are still unhappy with the outcome, you can complain to the Housing Ombudsman Service.

This service aims to provide a fair and effective way of resolving complaints against a landlord such as South Northants Homes. There is no charge for the use of the Housing Ombudsman Service.

The Ombudsman will expect you to have used our complaints procedure in order to give us the opportunity to resolve your complaint.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you must contact the Ombudsman as soon as possible, but no more than 12 months after you reached the end of our procedure. You can ask a friend, relative or adviser to help you with the complaint.

You might be entitled to compensation. For this you must give us full details, including evidence of any financial losses. Please ask the Senior Customer Services Officer or a member of the Customer Services Team fro further details.
